The Team 

 

At City Vets, our priority is delivering excellent client and patient care while ensuring our staff feel supported, valued, and able to enjoy a healthy work-life balance. 

 

Our progressive nursing team plays a vital role, leading on imaging, lump removals, and stage 1 dental procedures with multiple cert holders in exotics, anaesthesia, imaging and dentistry. Our out-of-hours services are outsourced to protect work-life balance, while inpatient care remains in-house. Weekend duties are shared fairly across the vet team. 

 

Our surgeries are accredited as Cat Friendly Clinics by the ISFM, varying from Bronze at Whipton to Gold at Heavitree. Additionally, St Thomas is Silver accredited Rabbit Friendly by the RWAF and Heavitree is a Gold Standard RWAF practice.

What we are looking for 

 

  • We're looking for someone who is not just experienced but also loves connecting with clients and providing high-quality, personalised care 

  • You’ll have the chance to handle routine consultations as well as surgeries, and you’ll receive plenty of support to explore your individual interests. 

  • RCVS registration with a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in first opinion practice.
