Salary: Up to £68,000 (D.O.E) plus £2,000 welcome bonus (for direct applicants) and up to £5,000 relocation package

Hours: Full Time is 4 days a week (8.30am-6.30pm) Part-time hours also available and minimal out-of-hours work.

We believe we have a great team here at Avonvale, we work collaboratively to ensure we deliver the best care possible. We are looking for an experienced Vet surgeon to join our team on a full-time basis but can offer flexibility for a part-time role so please do get in touch to discuss this with us.

We have an experienced team of 30 vets including those holding certificates in medicine, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, dermatology, feline medicine, ophthalmology, and diagnostic imaging who are always happy to offer support. We are happy to support you with certificate study if desired.

We are proud to be able to offer our clients 24-hour care and have our own team of night vets operating from our hospital.  We are also lucky to have our own CT, digital x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopy, and hydrotherapy unit in addition to all the usual kit.

We are a very close-knit team who look after each other.  We prioritise the wellbeing of our teams and also enjoy multiple team events each year, a highlight being Annie the Ice Cream vans visits.

About us

We have 7 RCVS accredited surgeries and a central hospital in Warwick.

We have many vets with a variety of interests including orthopaedics, acupuncture, laparoscopy, cardiology, imaging, feline medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and chronic pain management. We encourage our nurses to do further study and have nurses who completed emergency and critical care, anaesthesia, wound management, and behaviour courses and nurses who run our hydrotherapy unit. We are also happy to support certificate study if desired.

Avonvale are based in the sought-after area of Warwickshire - with some of the top schools in the UK you have the best of both worlds with the Warwickshire countryside and historic castles with the City of Birmingham only 30 minutes drive and London a direct train away.
