Role: Veterinary Surgeon (Primary Care)

Salary: Up to £65,000 D.O.E. Plus £5,000 welcome bonus (direct applications)

Location: Eastcott Veterinary Hospital, Swindon

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 40 hours a week, 4-day week with a 1 in 8 weekends (with 2 days in lieu the following week) Minimal on-call as ECC team on site.

We are seeking a motivated Veterinary Surgeon, ideally with a Surgical Certificate (or currently pursuing one), who excels in communication and teamwork to work alongside a team of 13 Vets. At Eastcott, you’ll thrive among a friendly team that values your input and fosters engaging case discussions, ensuring you grow both personally and professionally.

This exciting role is primarily based at our main hospital but also includes rotations through our consulting-only branches.

We are looking for

  • Veterinary Degree Registrable in the UK enabling full MRCVS status

About Us

Our well-equipped practice, dedicated to our fantastic primary care team is set within a large hospital that also houses a multi-disciplinary referral team. Eastcott is based in Swindon with the main site in Dorcan, and smaller branches in North Swindon and Old Town.  

We provide 24-hour emergency services and routine primary care for small animals, working separately – albeit closely - with the referral and ECC department.
