Leading small animal hospital Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists has boosted its expert internal medicine discipline with the appointment of a European and US-recognised diplomate.

Kerry Peak is no stranger to the team at the Linnaeus-owned referral centre as she completed her residency at the hospital between 2018 and 2021.

She’s since gone on to achieve European and American specialist status in small animal internal medicine, now returning to join more than 20 other specialists at the Winchester-based practice, including five fellows of the RCVS.

Kerry said: “I am delighted to be back at Anderson Moores and working again with the exceptional team here.

“Initially I was here for a three-year residency so I know the hospital is widely regarded as one of the country’s leading veterinary referral centres.

“I also know the whole team is totally focused on providing the highest-quality medical and surgical care for their patients.

“That’s why it was such an easy decision to come back and I’m really looking forward to using my specialist knowledge to help treat the serious internal medicine cases that are referred to us.

“I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of internal medicine and have a special interest in immune-mediated diseases, endoscopy and oncology which I’m ambitious to develop yet further here at Anderson Moores.”

Hospital director David Walker added: “Kerry joined us in 2018 and it’s wonderful to welcome her back to Anderson Moores, especially as we already know she is such a gifted and caring vet.”

Anderson Moores offers care in anaesthesia and analgesia, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, feline hyperthyroid clinic, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery.
