Due to anticipated growth, we are delighted to be able to offer a new position for a Lead Veterinary surgeon at our Oakhill practice, North East London.

No OOH.

No on call.

No Sundays.

Flexible rota.

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated veterinary surgeon, who strives to provide the best level of care for all our patients and their owners. This role may also be suitable for someone looking to progress in their career into a leadership position within clinical practice.

The role would initially be sole charge. When the successful candidate continues to grow and develop the practice, the intention is to then recruit a second (full time) vet and make this into a thriving, 2-vet practice.

You should enjoy the challenge of developing and growing the practice, who already have a loyal, trusting and committed client base. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with associates at all levels, which is important to us.

You will be able to prioritise your work based on clinical priority and importance. The successful applicant can expect to work in a happy and supportive environment, with our dedicated experienced nurses, patient care team right through to our client care team.

Your role and responsibilities will be to:

  • Work alongside the Clinical Director to ensure standards are upheld, with the highest level of clinical care is provided to patients.
  • Mixture of general practice consultation and surgery work throughout the week. Protected administration time also.
  • Ensure growth and development of the practice.
  • Exhibit strong client care skills showing professionalism and empathy
  • To work alongside and delegate tasks as required with other clinical and support staff.

Hours: 40 hours a week.
