Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist

Salary: £23,795.20 per annum (full-time equivalent)

Location:  Cinque Ports Vets, Hawkhurst

Job Type: Permanent 

Hours: 21.5 hours per week, share of a Saturday rota to be discussed at interview

Cinque Ports Vets are looking for a pro-active, empathetic person to join their fantastic Client Care team!
 

Your role and responsibilities

We are a busy practice and your role will be varied. We're looking for someone who can multitask, loves a challenge and working at a fast pace, takes pride in their work; knowing you have made a difference to someone's day gives fantastic job satisfaction.
A good sense of humour also helps!

The duties will involve, but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner.
  • Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures.
  • Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone.
  • Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly.
  • Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
  • Processing prescription requests.
  • Taking payments.
  • Promoting offers and services.
  • Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked.
