Eight Linnaeus Specialists Recognised By RCVS Fellowship

Congratulations to eight of our associates who have been admitted to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Fellowship for 2021 for outstanding contributions to the veterinary profession.
The Fellowship aims to advance veterinary standards by providing a resource of independent knowledge to the profession.
Seven Linnaeus Associates were admitted for their meritorious contributions to clinical practice, while a further associate was admitted for meritorious contributions to knowledge.
Enzo Vettorato, RCVS and EBVS Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at Dick White Referrals, in Cambridgeshire, has been honoured for meritorious contributions to clinical practice, as has DWR colleague and Head of Anaesthesia and Analgesia, Federico Corletto.
Chris Shales and Richard Harvey, from Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service, in Solihull, have been honoured with the award of fellowship by routes of Meritorious Contribution to Clinical Practice and Meritorious Contribution to Knowledge respectively.
Chris is an RCVS and European Specialist in small animal surgery at Willows, while Richard joined Willows earlier this year as Head of Dermatology.
Giunio Bruto Cherubini, Head of Neurology at DWR, has also been honoured for his contribution to clinical practice.
Elsewhere, European Specialist in Small Animal Surgery Nicola Kulendra, from North Downs Specialist Referrals, in Bletchingley, and Tim Charlesworth, Head of Surgery at Eastcott Veterinary Referrals, in Swindon, have been recognised for contributions to clinical practice, as has Zoe Halfacree, RCVS and EBVS European Specialist in Small Animal Surgery at Davies Veterinary Specialists in Hitchin.
Professor Séverine Tasker, Chief Medical Officer at Linnaeus, congratulated the new fellows and said the recognition highlighted the exceptional level of skill and expertise on offer here at Linnaeus.
